Re: CF2 dead after running out of battery while flashing

Were you able to get into booloader mode using USB power? Hold the switch, then connect the USB cable and hold it for about 3 seconds until the blue M2 LED starts to blink. Release it an the blue M3 LED should also start to blink and you are in bootloader mode? Thanks Tobias, that solved it. It cam...

Re: CF2 dead after running out of battery while flashing

Can you get it into bootloader mode? Try with a USB cable only (no bat) and hold the button while connecting the cable. Also the battery will charge even though the main FW isn't working, but very slowly (100mA) so do it in powered off mode. I can't get into bootloader mode. It doesn't respond to t...

[SOLVED] CF2 dead after running out of battery while flashing

Hi guys, One of my Crazyflie 2.0 died, with only M2 blue LED on and not responding to the switch, both short and long presses. I think this happened while I was trying to flash new firmware on bootloader via Crazyradio dongle (my modified firmware which I have been testing for a while without proble...

Re: Controlling a servo/Outputting a PWM signal on the CF2

I finally figured it out that the BRUSHLESS mode works the same as the signal for servo motor, so I just created another motor in BRUSHLESS mode and use this to control the servo.

Re: Controlling a servo/Outputting a PWM signal on the CF2

Hi,

I would like to know if you have any progress.

I tried adding another motor to the set of motors, using TX2, but the servo does not move so much. Seems the frequency of the PWM that is used to control the thrust uses different frequency (328 kHz) as the normal servo (50 Hz, I guess).

Re: Trial with heading from magnetometer (CF2.0)

As for the current effecting the magnetometer it mainly comes from the battery. By moving the battery to underneath the PCB it gets a lot better. I'm a bit afraid that just moving the battery when it is on the top a little with change the calibration parameters. I may try that. One more thing that ...

Trial with heading from magnetometer (CF2.0)

Hi guys, I am trying to overcome yaw drift problem by using magnetometer's reading of CF2.0. First, I did the calibration for hard iron and soft iron by rotating the quadrotor around in all direction in the space I'll use it. The offset is calculated by (max + min)/2 The radius of each axis is r_x =...

Re: CF2.0 LED not usual + fast yaw drift

Hi, Could you get the log when your Crazyflie start and copy-paste it here. The log will tell what is happening then it blinks burst of red (it means that the self-test has not passed). You will find the console in the client: https://wiki.bitcraze.io/doc:crazyflie:client:pycfclient:index#console W...

CF2.0 LED not usual + fast yaw drift

Hi guys, I just switched from CF1 to CF2.0 and it works quite well, obviously better in stability. Recently one of my CF2.0 seems to be malfunctioning. When I turned it on, the LED lights sometimes not behave normally. Instead of a burst of green LED 5 times, followed by heartbeat of red LED at arou...
