Connecting my RC transmitter to the CF client

I found a way to do this. FWIW here is what I did to use my transmitter and radio to control CF. 1. Used the VM client on my laptop 2. Used my Turnigy 9x but am using a FrSky transmit module(RF 9x V2) and FrSky receiver(D4R-II) which can output Combined PPM 3. Made a cable to feed the receiver CPPM ...

Just got my CF. Loving it! But, I am using my Turnigy 9X as the joystick. This uses Smartpropoplus and PPjoy to turn a PPM or PCM signal into a Windows joystic controllerk. I agree. He did some 'very' excellent work!

I was actually hoping he would incorporate this LED strobe concept in his work. He certainly has the experience and skills to make it work if its possible. DensTiny??? What do you think?

Gee. I didn't think of that :( But, I just looked up the accelerometer specs for the first time and I see this low pass filter for the accelerometers that can be programmed up to 260Hz. I was just reading this thread and a thought occurred. With one motor running, the frame should move back and forth with the unbalanced propeller. This is detected by the accelerometers. What about an LED hooked to one of the header pins(you would plug it in for prop balancing) that would strobe the...
