Re: BigQuad ESC Beeping
So, I removed the flow deck for now and got a new big quad deck. Now I am able to power the motors, however the drone flips during takeoff. The direction of the spin and the props match the wiki for big quad deck, still the drone flips. Is it the PID? Any tips for calibrating pids for a biggquad Cra...

Re: Inverted Motors - Crazyflie 2.0
Hi, Nice setup! :) It looks like you did not inverse the propellers. The propellers are not efficient when run up-side-down so you should turn them around and you will get much more thrust. You might have to modify a bit the PID parameters since you changed the position of the center of mass. Thank...

Inverted Motors - Crazyflie 2.0
Hi, As part of a project, we're trying to build an inverted drone that can carry higher payloads with Crazyflie. (I know there is a big debate about whether it should be inverted or not, but in the given circumstances lets assume it has to be). We started by replacing the standard motors with larger...

Re: Hardcoding Altitude Hold
Hi, I bought a bunch of flow decks to test hover mode, however, the z-distance/height in the Hover mode is oscillating. Even if you give it a little more thrust, it oscillates. The distance is less than 1m. How to fix this? Do we try to fuse the data from both the sensors? How can we verify if the z...

Chromebook support for Crazyflie
Hey, I am planning to use bunch of Chromebooks to teach students to code and fly Crazyflie. But I am unable to do it. The Chromebook doesn't read the Crazyflie radio device. I am running dev-mode and using crouton, I can to switch to Ubuntu 12.04 (or Xfce4). I have installed all the libraries (pytho...

CrazyFlie Android + Python (Server/Client) without OTG Cable
When i got my Crazyflie Quadcopter, i didnt have a spare PS3/Xbox or any generic controller lying around to fly it. Neither the OTG cable i had was working with my android device. So i thought of writing an Android app similar to the Bitcraze Android Client but tweaked it a little bit. Now you can f...

Re: [SOLVED] Crazyflie tilts to M4 side when taking off
I have the same issue, can you tell me how did you solve this ?
I adjusted the mapping , but still it flies in one direction only. M4 motor starts after a bit and stops before the others.
