Re: how to alter the controller's code

The motors are using TIM2 and TIM4 so should not have a conflict with TIM5. It must be something else. Can you get it to fly if you don't compile the servodeck driver?

Re: Where I can modify the code for an asymmetry quad-rotor

Kimberly is on the right track. You will have to create a function in power_distribution_stock.c (or a new file) that distributes the power according to your geometry.

One quick follow up question. Are you having the link open in the cfclient at the same time?

Re: Crazyclone

Nicely done, I hope you write more about it as you progress.

For the nRF51 there is a make target "factory_reset" this should flash bootloader and such. Here you need to use SWD

For the STM32 you need to flash first the bootloader, then the FW using the STM32 SWD.

Re: Crazyclone

It it is a crazyflie 1.0 you need to flash the 1.0 FW which is not developed any more, but can still be build. Read about it in this blog post.

PS. Would be nice to see a picture if you have :D . DS

Re: CF Ignores some of the high-level commands

I have not used the ros driver that much but I know there is a broadcast functionality. I'm guessing you are not using this? There is no acknowledgement that a packet has been processed by the STM, only that it has been received by the NRF, so potentially something could get lost there, but I doubt ...

Re: CF Ignores some of the high-level commands

A tricky problem, it sounds like a communication problem, like packet loss or similar but that "shouldn't" happen. If you have any way to replicate it that would help a lot.
