Re: Unable to control the takeoff for crazyflie

We followed this code for crazyflie but we are not able to make takeoff, but it is following the trajectory. In this link they mentioned flowdeck in requirements, is it required or what is the issue? Yes the flow deck is required. Without that or any other form of positioning system it is not possi...

Re: Flow deck issue

If we could see a video it would be easier to know what is happen. From your descriptions it sounds like there sometimes is not enough features on the ground or that shadows is fooling the flow deck. The "unstable" IMU when landed is because of noise from the flow deck and that is normal. The perfor...

Re: Unable to control the takeoff for crazyflie

That sounds very wrong and you should not need the flow deck. The altitude value is imprecise and nothing strange, are you trying to fly it in altitude hold mode? What about the roll/pitch values, are they stable? Do you seem to have a bad radio link? This could delay the input commands and the CF2 ...

Re: Flow Deck Data Collection

I suggest starting by having a look in basiclogSync.py in the examples folder. When you have that running exchange logging parameters to the ones in the flowdeck_v1v2.c file.

Re: CF does't responds to changed parameters

It is possible that something has broken during development. It is a lot to setup. Can you share your code, either on github or here?

Re: Flow deck issue

Hi! Can you be a bit more precise in the description, e.g. when do they take of in random direction? Did you place the CF2 in the direction of the "ASCII" art as drawn in the swarmSequenceCircle file. If you fly only one with e.g. flowfigure8 how does it fly then? I'm thinking maybe the tracking sur...

Re: Flow deck and zrange strange behaviour

Hmm, maybe there is a bug. Did you also update the crazyflie-lib-python as there has been changes to increase max log and param values.

Re: CF2-Kalman-2017-05.bin too big to flash

That is strange because the STM32 flash is 1MB. If you flash using the cfclient you should select the zip file, could that be the problem?

Re: Controlling Crazyflie when communication is lost

Hi!

The time-outs can be found here in commander.h.

Are you planning to use e.g. the flow deck or e.g. some other "positioning" system? What you could do is change what happens after the timeouts by sending you wanted setpoint.
