Re: Make a more powerful but still tiny drone.

Unfortunately not yet. This is on our todo list as well as making parameters savable. There are many good guides on the internet and youtube so I suggest to first start browsing that. The parameters are all available and the relevant gourps are pid_attitude and pid_rate . Then when you have tuned it...

Re: Sensor BMI088 and BMP388

The reason for that is that it might be possible to build a very small and powerful quadrotor using the Bolt. Then the latency between the sensor readings and motor output will be more important. The SPI has lower latency and therefore this was chosen. It adds some possible compatibility issues thou...

Re: Make a more powerful but still tiny drone.

Thank you for your detailed answers. I had a look in the cf client's parameter tab with the bolt board connected. Do I have to tune the attitude pid values or the rate pid values or both of them? For my omnibus f4 board I only have pid values in the betaflight software and they differ very much fro...

Can you get into bootloader mode the way I told explained, from a no power state (no USB or battery connected)? Do you have a Crazyradio?

Re: Make a more powerful but still tiny drone.

I'll do my best to answer your questions. 1- Does the Bolt board work with the crazyflie client? Yes, the base firmware is the same, or actually almost all of it. 2- Can I use the propeller test button for balancing the propellers? With the crazyflie 2.1 this tool is very helpful. Well it is deactiv...

Re: M2 stays solid blue. No other LEDs lighting

The nRF51 MCU firmware has probably been corrupted. Start from a powerless state and you should be able to get into the bootloader. Thus hold the button while connecting the battery.

Re: CF Not Powering On

Sound like a hardware failure unfortunately. Can you send an email to support@bitcraze.io and we will help you out.

My guess is that something failed within the power path, probably the power management chip.

Re: Get raw measurement from the flow deck V2

You mean, instead of keeping a distance to the ground, you would like it to keep the altitude? This would require a more advanced filter which could fuse the barometer and the ground distance and remove potential steps/spikes from the sensors. This would be a very nice feature but nothing we have ha...

Re: Running multiranger_pointcloud.py example

You could try "app-get update" but it depends on what Ubuntu version (e.g. 19.04) you are on. Possible, at the version you have, 3.5.2 might be the latest.

Re: Programing failed

You might have to "cold" boot to the bootloader. Thus start from a powerless state, hold the button and then connect the battery. What version of the cflib are you using? There was this issue but it did not happen all the time. The fix should be in the latest 0.1.9 cf-lib release. If that doesn't fi...
