Re: 3dprinted prop guard and motor mounts
Thanks Chad! Wait till you see the frame and motor mounts before judging whether they are worth the cost ;) To be honest I also think shapeways prints are a bit expensive, and I've tried to keep my margin to a minimum to make the price as competitive as possible. hopefully the printing cost will go ...

3dprinted prop guard and motor mounts
I finished my 3d printed prop guard and custom motor mount for the Crazyflie 2.0 The prop guard is based on the old one I made for Crazyflie 1.0, but the motor mounts are new to Crazyflie 2.0, because the motors are now plugged in rather than soldered. The mounts has integrated springs feet for cush...

Re: Win10 x64 - Crazyflie client doesn't recognize any gamepads
Hi, I have the same problem. on Windows 10 x64, with cfclient 2016.4.1 and a wired xbox360 controller. an older version (2013) client was able to detect the controller and let me configure the input mappings (but not save these settings), so I know at least Windows 10 is seeing the controller correc...

Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Model/STL files
the power switch location in the revA model is slight off..
fixed in revB
sketchup and dxf in the attached zip file
this should be the final version, no more further revisions (famous last words...)

Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Model/STL files
No worries Marcus!
btw I found pdfs of the electronics layout for the board, so I've updated those parts of the model as well.
this revA model replaces the one I posted previously - sketchup and dxf file in the zip file attached.

Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Model/STL files
Thought I'd share again :) Here's a sketchup model of the crazyflie 2.0 I've been working up for a 3D printed frame design of mine. The board shape is accurate (based on the board online in the repository), the electronic bits on the board are based on my rough measurements, and only those bits that...

Re: sketchup model
Thanks
while working on my crazyflie frame today, I noticed the centre point I used for rotation in my previous model was slightly off.
fixed it, so here is the revised version of the model, in sketchup and dxf format.

Re: sketchup model
thanks!
please do add it to the repository! I hadn't realise there's a mechanical section in the repository
I can export a dxf, but it'll have to be sometime next week, currently out and about...
(or someone else with sketchup pro might be able to help)

sketchup model
had my crazyflie quadcopter for a few weeks now, pretty impressed by how stable it flies given it's size! I wanted to look at designing my own crazyflie frame for 3dprinting after reading about Vger's experiments in another thread: http://forum.bitcraze.se/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=298&hilit=fram...
