Re: Crazyflie / PS3 controller problem / exaggerated movemen
If you are very close to the floor the turbulence will cause the Crazyflie to behave strangely, so you have to get up at least 20 cm from the floor. Then you will have to manually correct the roll/pitch using smooth motions. The best is to find a large room so you have some space to maneuver around...

Re: Crazyflie / PS3 controller problem / exaggerated movemen
Yeah, I am having a hard time too controlling my flie. I am also using the android client for control, as I don't have a PS controller. I give it thrust, and it usually lifts off & immeadiatly drifts into something that causes it to crash. does anyone have a link to a quick-start kind of tuning exer...

Re: First controlled flight!
I have yet to get a controlled flight, but I have only had a few chances. I really had to put a limit on the thrust values to like 45% just to keep it from launching into the ceiling. Re: Android client with basic support for PS3 controller
Thanks for the clarification. my primary phone is not rooted, although I do have another handset that is.
I don't have a ps3 controller, so that is another thing I'd have to pick up. the only rush is that I plan on demoing this at a 'hack night' @ my office this week.

Re: Android client with basic support for PS3 controller
Hey Thanks surrender. That is exactly what I was hoping for! So I am closer to getting airborne.
I am fairly certain I know which USB adapter to get, but if you have a link, that'd be cool too.

Re: Android client with basic support for PS3 controller
derf, I just got my crazyFlie together tonight, and I am hoping to use your android app. Could you give me a sort of shopping list for which cables to get? Sorry to ask, but when looking online, there are a bunch of Y cables. I am assuming I need a single male end to plug into the USB-->microUSB don...

Re: Who has it already? :)
I ordered mine on the 28th of June, and the status was upgraded yesterday to status of 'shipped'. Where are these shipping from, and does anyone have an idea of how long for delivery to the West coast of the USA?
- Thanks, Kevin
