Re: Crazyflie Battery Connector Disconnecting
Hi Tobias, You are spot on. I tried to simply replace the white connector first, but the issue persisted, so it wasn't the connector. The soldering on the PCB is also very solid. Then I removed a bit of the AWG-20 at the end of the cables, and lightly pulled on the inner conductive material. The red...

Re: Crazyflie Battery Connector Disconnecting
Hi Tobias, thanks for replying. Sadly I already removed the cables of the defective drone, so I can't test the WD-40 solution. But I have attached a video link, of the behavior I was talking about. The video shows a normally working crazyflie, but imagine that in the defective case, the crazyflie po...

Crazyflie Battery Connector Disconnecting
Hi all, I have noticed something with my crazyflies. After about a year of lots of flights, there is a certain issue that arises with the battery connector. Specifically, whenever you jingle the cables (or the crazyflie moves), the battery apparently disconnects. To be clear, the connectors do not v...

Re: Bootload Crazyflie without Button
Hi Tobias, so I tried that but I can't connect to the bootloader. Also, the M2 Led is the only one blinking, while normally both M2 and M3 blink when in bootloader. And when I said in my first post that M3 turns on, I actually meant M2. This must mean something has been burnt or short-circuited right?

Bootload Crazyflie without Button
Hi everyone, I have a few crazyflies for my lab, and one of them (the first one assembled) has been through a lot of crashes and as a result has had some casualties, including the On/Off button that at some point broke off. A few days ago, the power cable got loose and so I did a little bit of solde...

Re: My off-board position control
Hi CrazyGuy,
impressive work. I was wondering if you did end up uploading your code in Github.
I would especially be interested in looking at how exactly you implemented the direct motor speed setting part on the Crazyflie.
Thank you

Re: Unstable when Yaw reaches 90 Degrees
I used both the PID and the Mellinger and had the same results. But then I decided to try without the crazyflie_ros package, wrote some code to do the same things using only the crazyflie python libs and didn't get instability. I figured the only difference was that in the crazyflie libs examples I ...

Unstable when Yaw reaches 90 Degrees
Hi everyone, I am flying crazyflies using a Vicon system. I've been using mainly the crazyflie_ros package and send position+yaw setpoints to the crazyflie over ROS. Everything works fine, until I command the crazyflie to turn to 90 (or 270) degrees. As soon as it does that, it starts to lose its ba...
