Firmware file

Somehow my Mac managed to compile the firmware.
I have the following files:
cfs2.elf, cfs2.map, cfs2.hex, cfs2.bin, cfs2.dfu

Which is the file which gets uploaded to the crazyflie as the actual firmware?
According to instructions it's a zip file?

Issue compiling firmware

Trying to compile firmware but getting stuck at installing the arm library. Any ideas? Ubuntu (in docker): E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-gcc-arm-embedded/ppa/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is there...

Re: Make a more powerful but still tiny drone.

@leonana69 may you share your pid and thrust base values so I can compare to the crazyflie and make the right decision for my new quad? The thrustBase is 32000 and thrustMin is 20000. For height control PID, the PID_Z_RATE_KP/KI/KD are 7.0/2.0/0.3, the PID_K_KP/KI/KD are 10.0/2.0/1.0. I didn't chan...

Hi, would you mind posting your pid.h values that you ended up tweaking?
Thanks!

Re: Crazyflie Bolt issue with motors

Hi all, wanted to share an update. Today we have first sucessful flight. Sort of. As soon as I hit the thruster, it hit the ceiling, it's super fast. For anyone else wanting to make a bolt, look at this page as your starting page: https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:bolt:index The motor order is not s...

Re: Crazyflie Bolt issue with motors

Wait, switching front and back does not make sense, as they move in exactly the same direction?
Can you draw on top of the image where the motors should be turning?

Re: Crazyflie Bolt issue with motors

Hi all, a bit of an update. I redid the soldering and now there's no more issues when testing the motors. Also fixed orientation of one of the motors, so now I believe they are all pointing in the right direction. So I ran the first test... aaaand nothing. Motors go what sounds to me like full throt...

Re: Crazyflie Bolt issue with motors

A Picture says a thousand words, so including a bunch of photos:

Also a video of the issue:

You can see Motor 2 specifically refuses to run at the same speed while M3 & M4 run great.
