Got myself one of those for exactly that purpose, but noticed too late that it charges at 500mA (what might be too much) and that it has the wrong battery connector soldered on (our LiPos use a smaller 2-prong one -- don't know if that's still called a JST than or not, but it's basically just a sma...

Further little update: New Tuning: The previous post, I gave the tuning I came to. Since then, I have added little foam pads on the base of the motors, and so have changed the dynamics. The problem flying in rate mode is that the gamepad sensitivity needs to be changed and preferable to a none linear response. This could be done in the client.
