Re: Crazyflie w/Flow v2 deck is randomly unstable
Hi Arnaud, never mind my previous question about using Multi-ranger deck mounted on the bottom. I realized that it can be mounted only on the top (per the Crazyflie accessories page). But it does bring up another question: If I want to do precise proximity detection to objects & surfaces with th...

Re: 3dprinted prop guard and motor mounts
I got one of these. On the positive side, it fits very nicely on the Crazyflie, and there has clearly been a lot of thought that has gone into the design of the snap-on clips, low weight and the general form factor. On the negative side it is ridiculously brittle. It seemed like after nearly every h...

Re: Crazyflie w/Flow v2 deck is randomly unstable
Hi Arnaud, thanks for your detailed reply! I'm thinking that instead of using Flow Deck I'll use the Multi-ranger deck instead mounted on the bottom (upside down) and the Lighthouse deck mounted on top -- con you confirm that this configuration will work? How many Vive Base Stations would I need for...

Re: Crazyflie w/Flow v2 deck is randomly unstable
Hi Arnaud, yes you were right -- thanks for the pointer. it seemed that it was indeed the pattern on the floor that may have been the problem. I was doing my earlier testing on a carpet that had a pattern of alternating light and dark colors (approx 5-10 cm each color) which may have been fooling th...

Crazyflie w/Flow v2 deck is randomly unstable
I got the Flow Deck v2 for Crazyflie 2.1 and have been trying out a few Python scripts from the crazyflie-lib-python/examples folder, notably motion_commander_demo.py. I modified this script to make the Crazyflie fly in a rectangle, where at each waypoint it hovers for 3 seconds before moving to the...

Crazyradio PA disconnects frequently without reason
Hi, I just got my Crazyflie 2.0 to connect and run some Python programs. One problematic thing I encountered is that the Crazyradio PA disconnects all by itself and for no apparent reason (typically after 10 to 120 seconds). My Crazyflie and the PA dongle are reasonably close, varying between 1 and ...

Re: Cannot get Crazyflie Python API to work
Never mind my previous post, I was able to get it to work!
I had not installed cflib. Once I did that with: pip3 install cflib it started working well.
In short, I'm all set

Cannot get Crazyflie Python API to work
Hello, I am working with the Crazyflie 2.0 quadcopter, and am trying to get it working from my Macbook Pro (in native mode, not VM). I followed the Bitcraze Wiki and am able to bring up the main window showing that there is a radio connection between my Crazyradio PA dongle (radio://0/80/2M, address...
