Re: Logging does not retrieve variable's value

Hi Arnaud, Sorry I misunderstood what you meant. I have monitored the normal client's behavior and my recreated Labview client, and the messages sent/received are the same. Capture of my Labview client's creation, then start of block 09. Red is response to red, blue to blue. https://imgur.com/a/kNA5...

Re: Logging does not retrieve variable's value

Hi Arnaud, I am not using the PC client, but rather trying to replicate the logging within my Labview program. So I do not receive an error. Within the PC client I have no issue with logging. A simpler variable I would like to retrieve would be something such as battery level, since I know this exis...

Logging does not retrieve variable's value

Hi there, I am trying to log a variable but am experiencing issues with what the Crazyflie returns to me. I first start by deleting all log blocks previously saved in the system (port 5, channel 1, ID 5) then creating a log block (port 5, channel 1, ID 0, choosing block ID 9, followed by variable 57...

CRTP - Message Contents Question

Hi all, Had some small questions on the CRTP protocol - some of which isn't covered entirely in the wiki. 1. For sending messages to port 5, channel 1 (add block), the message structure seems to be: byte 1 - port/link/channel byte 2 - command (add block) byte 3 - ID of block (?) byte 4-end - not sur...

Re: CRTP Protocol - Understanding of Responses and Requests

Hey guys, I think I've figured out the issue and it isn't to do with the protocol. I think it is Labview based and I've overlooked it thinking everything was working fine. -.- Sorry to waste your time and thank you so much for your responses. I will post again if the issue doesn't get solved the way...

Re: CRTP Protocol - Understanding of Responses and Requests

Thanks so much for your help again guys. Whoenig: I don't know much Python or C++ but that file is definitely helpful and I can decode it once I do get some responses coming in. I will look over it and hopefully it can help somewhat. Thank you! Arnaud: That is good to know that it will send things e...

CRTP Protocol - Understanding of Responses and Requests

Hi there, My last post cleared a lot of things up about CRTP, but I seem to be stuck again. The wiki documentation on some of this seems to be unfinished so I was hoping someone could shed some light on some questions I had surrounding the logging and parameters ports. I am trying to communicate usi...

Re: Controlling Crazyflie through Labview - CRTP responses are not as expected

That makes a lot more sense and I think I was looking at the communication in a very different way. I will give that a go and hopefully my issues will be resolved.

Thank you so much for your responses and the detail you've provided. :)

Controlling Crazyflie through Labview - CRTP responses are not as expected

Hi there, I hope I am posting in the right place. I am trying to achieve control of Crazyflies through Labview. So far, I am communicating with five, and having no issues with sending information in the correct format down to the copters. All 5 respond perfectly when using the commander packet - if ...

Re: Control of Crazyflie through Labview

Never mind, I seem to have fixed my issue above. The problem may occur again but at the moment I can work with what I have. Thanks again Arnaud.
