Re: Limit on # of Decks?

Just a correction on the great explanation. Even though the Qi and the Flow works together electrically they don't work together mechanically as the Qi will block the camera and distance sensor. Thank you for the correction! I suppose the Qi deck needs line-of-sight to the charging pad, is that cor...

Re: Issue controlling brushless ESCs with Crazyflie 2.0

Thank you for your reply Tobias. I had not seen RZR before, this is excellent news! I was about 50% of the way to getting that capability myself, but now I am relieved to know that Bitcraze is working on a similar product. Do you have any guess as to when it will be released? I have been working wit...

Re: Limit on # of Decks?

Hello there! Stacking multiranger, flow, and QI charging decks should be fine, provided that you have headers which are long enough. The trick with adding decks is that the Crazyflie has limited input-output capability. Each new deck will require some of that capability, and not all of the IO capabi...

Issue controlling brushless ESCs with Crazyflie 2.0

Hello Bitcraze, Sorry for the repost, but I initially placed this in the wrong message board! I am working on a custom deck for Crazyflie 2.0, the purpose of which is to allow the Crazyflie to control brushless motors with a 1-2 cell battery, while preserving some of the expansion deck IO (SPI for t...

Introducing: Multiranger Deck Gazebo Model

Hello everyone, I would like to share a project which I started to model the soon to be released Multiranger deck in Gazebo with ROS integration. For the last couple of weeks I have been looking into expanding the capabilities of Crazyflie 2.0 to include ranging sensors based on the VL53L1X sensor, ...

Re: Optical Flow Sensor - How is it Assembled?

Thanks for your reply Tobias! Yes I am only exploring some preliminary ideas right now, and for the foreseeable future will just be trying out some prototypes. I look forward to trying what you describe.

Optical Flow Sensor - How is it Assembled?

Hello everyone, This is my first post on the Bitcraze forums, however I have been working with Crazyflie and other Bitcraze hardware for a year now (mostly I have interacted with the developer community through git issues). My background is in electrical engineering, I am currently a masters student...
