Yes at one point that was my suspicion too, so I have tried bigger batteries (higher cell counts and higher C ratings) but it didn't help. I am powering it through the BEC in the ESC board I linked to in my original post. Is there any ESC or BEC you guys have had any luck with in the past?

Hi, I have purchased a few BigQuad decks for my crazyflies, but they aren't working for me. I can usually get the motors to spin for a few seconds and then the crazyflie just reboots. 1) I am successfully compiling the driver (I hard coded the flag) 2) I tested the esc+motors using one of these guys...
