Re: why doesn't flashing crazyflie(2.0) work in cfclient?
(sorry for the late response) I installed crazyflie-lib-python as described while venv is activated. (i think i did it before allready, but not with venv) As i already installed the client recently as described i only did said above.. but one thing to note about the client.. i had trouble installing...

Re: why doesn't flashing crazyflie(2.0) work in cfclient?
thank you for the quick response :D i tried both USE_CFLINK=python3 cfclient and USE_CFLINK=python cfclient (as python2.7 is still default in the system for different applications) maybe i can somehow set python3.6 as default for the venv? i tried a few times and still have the same strange seemingl...

why doesn't flashing crazyflie(2.0) work in cfclient?
hi! i'm trying to flash firmware with cfclient onto a cf2.0 with a lighthouse deck as i am not certain that it has the (latest) firmware. starting cfclient in venv: newk@gigalight:~$ . ./bitcraze-venv/bin/activate (bitcraze-venv) newk@gigalight:~$ cd bitcraze (bitcraze-venv) newk@gigalight:~/bitcraz...

Re: A few questions about nodes and placement
Yes i did.. only thing is that i do not dare to update anything on that working but underpowered laptop now. Tomorrow we film footage of it to make a short video to present our project. We use the laptop of our python programmer.. it does work on his installation and that one is probably almost as r...

Re: A few questions about nodes and placement
Hi.. happy new 2017! No other warnings in terminal then those also in a working environment.. The red led comes on.. but not the second transmit led. It works fine with cfclient .. that makes it weird and kind of rules out usb problems with radio, at least if there are no diffrences between cfclient...

Re: A few questions about nodes and placement
after quite some struggles in trying to compile the crazyflies with new firmware i found out you removed the "sensors" part in config.mk ..stuff is confusing when it changes while working on it  i still gotta find my way in keeping overview in software development environments :) Th...

Re: A few questions about nodes and placement
Great i will try switching out models with axes! Hope you have good Yule-festivities btw :D I decided to install a fresh and lightweight 32bit Ubuntu 16.04 on a small but powerfull computer i recently bought for Maartje. I followed instructions on how to set up ROS with Bitcraze (allthough source /o...

Re: can i turn off LEDS during automated flight?
That "blackout" option would of course be awesome! Is this possible by tomorrow night? (we have the presentation on friday, and want to do final rehearsals and tests on thursday) If not on this short notice, some way of changing it in the firmware without being able to switch it from ROS w...

Re: A few questions about nodes and placement
Ah another question i have about ROS is the "RobotModel" visualisation. (Not sure if i'm at the right spot to ask this.) Recently there was an update to ROS and someone made a nice effort and added a 3D model representation of CrazyFlie2 as it's model. Before that the lime-green markers wo...

can i turn off LEDS during automated flight?
Hi, This question might be a bit strange, but we found it esthetically not fitting to have our drones shine colourful LEDs during their performance. We think we should be looking at the code in crazyflie-firmware-master\src\hal\src\ledseq.c but maybe we got that wrong because our efforts on that did...
