Re: Ranging Light on Anchors Flickers, Connection Intermittent

Perfect, thanks! The console log looks OK, no problem there. I also think the plot looks pretty OK. My guess is that the Crazyflie is working but the main problem is the client I think the first thing to do is to get the client stable, it seems to be a bit shaky which makes it hard to understand if ...

Re: Failed Assert in .//src/utils/interface/cf_math.h:78

Yeah, the problem with the assert log is that it does not give you any clue of what code that called the arm_sqrt(). What firmware are you using? Do you see this problem on the latest official release (2021.03) flashed from the python client as well? As far as I know, we have not heard about similar...

Re: Enabling more than two base stations

How can I make the crazyflie 'forget' about the basestations? The base station information (calibration and geometry data) is stored in the persistent memory in the Crazyflie and unfortunately there is currently no easy way to erase this. The data should not do any harm, it is only used if the craz...

Re: Ranging Light on Anchors Flickers, Connection Intermittent

Great, now we have a known software state! This problem is slightly confusing and I have a hard time understanding what the root cause might be. I get the feeling that the distance measurement to the anchors is (sort of) working since the anchor identification functionality works, and my guess is th...

Re: CPU Load

The easiest way to get a feel for the CPU load is to use the python client. Open the console tab and click the "Task dump" button. You should get something like: SYSLOAD: Task dump SYSLOAD: Load Stack left Name SYSLOAD: 3.37 183 Tmr Svc SYSLOAD: 69.85 127 IDLE SYSLOAD: 1.61 213 CRTP-RX SYSLOAD: 6.80...

Re: Ranging Light on Anchors Flickers, Connection Intermittent

It all sounds a bit weird, I'm not sure what is happening. First, it is easy to reset the nodes so getting back to a clean state is no problem. When connected to an anchor using a terminal just press 'd', this will reset all settings factory settings. From the help menu: Help ------------------- 0-9...

Re: Enabling more than two base stations

I assume cafeciaojoe updated the client, it only supports 2 base station status rows.

You can find the code here if you want to play with it https://github.com/bitcraze/crazyflie-c ... #L616-L651

Re: flow deck v2 error

The latest release 2021.03 Tobias was referring to the latest release of the Crazyfle firmware (https://github.com/bitcraze/crazyflie-firmware/releases). It looks like you are using a later version compiled from source code and it would be interesting to see if the problem also exists with the 2021...

Re: Ranging Light on Anchors Flickers, Connection Intermittent

Hi! The reason the indicators flicker between green and red is that the ranging with the anchors is not successful all the time. The question is why? One common problem is that that the anchor is too far away, possibly combined with other factors such as interference with other radio sources. The an...

Re: Enabling more than two base stations

Hi! Some parts of the client should handle 4 base stations without problems while some parts don't, just use channels 1, 2, 3 and 4. I don't think it will crash but all information may not be displayed for all base stations. The 3D view should work but the base station status boxes only supports 2 b...
