Re: Controlling CrazyFlie 2.0 with Xbox Controller on a Mac

So that was the wrong controller. Thanks for the help. I've had this drone thing for 6 months now and have had the most difficulty in actually using it. This has been really frustrating. I really want to play with this thing but I can't even get it to connect to a controller properly (iPhone app is ...

Re: Controlling CrazyFlie 2.0 with Xbox Controller on a Mac

Great! This sounds silly but I did not notice that tab. So, I would like bluetooth, that seems like a great way to go since it is wireless. Okay, so about the pairing. Can you detail the pairing a little more or link to a reference if there is one? Is the PS + button on the controller? Any drivers? ...

Re: Controlling CrazyFlie 2.0 with Xbox Controller on a Mac

That looks like a possible solution but I already sent the controller back. I am looking for a more plug and play way to do it. I am thinking maybe the PS3 Controller. As listed here it shows that this one "works" with the Mac. https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:crazyflie:pc_utils:inputdevi...

Controlling CrazyFlie 2.0 with Xbox Controller on a Mac

Re: Crazyflie 2 doesn't hover?

I was disappointed with the iPhone controller as well. It is very hard to get it to be stable in the air. An easy fix would be for the controllers to reset to nuetral everytime you lift your fingers off just like what happens when you release your fingers from a real world joystick. Anyways, I also ...

Re: iPhone App, Some Motors are Sluggish, Flies Erratic (Vid

Excellent, I will try that when I get into the code. Also, are there any resources for balancing it properly? I had a great deal of fun with it today but noticed it was a bit front heavy. Perhaps my battery positioning is off? Also, I am going to go ahead and change the connections to a 2-pin JST co...

Re: iPhone App, Some Motors are Sluggish, Flies Erratic (Vid

I feel incredibly silly. I am glad it was perhaps this simple. I took the header mounts to be the section that carried the payload. I also now see the "This side is up" marker... classic... One thing I may ask, suppose I did want those headers to be on the bottom so that any circuits I mou...

Re: iPhone App, Some Motors are Sluggish, Flies Erratic (Vid

I was able to connect correctly to the CrazyFlie after selecting the item in the connect menu. However, I found that the sensor readings looked to be upside down. I posted another video showing these readings and the orientation. https://youtu.be/KfV0yQO72t0 Here are two pictures that illustrate the...
