Re: Release Date for crazyflie 2.0?

That works!

Is the codebase roughly the same? Will the basic algorithms and code structure be similar?

Re: Crazyflie Nano and Remote Control

Thank you. That's perfect information.

As it gets colder and my outdoor flying days get shorter, I'll probably spend more time with my Crazyflie and some indoor GPS work.

Re: Freshly Built, Latest Download Nano Just Wants to Yaw

I just replaced the motor mount, motor and prop on M4 and have exactly the same result. I do a lot with Ardupilot and medium-large frames, so I freely admit that I'm new to the nano. But my best guess is either the speed controller on M4 is miscalibrated or otherwise bad. It does the correct things ...

Re: Freshly Built, Latest Download Nano Just Wants to Yaw

I have two identical nanos with identical wiring and identical prop placement. One flies great and one demonstrates that screwy behavior described above. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0nlwjtop1mb2lv0/20140819_160305.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/0nlwjtop1mb2lv0/20140819_160305.jpg Here's a brief video o...

Re: Freshly Built, Latest Download Nano Just Wants to Yaw

It thinks it's yawing while it's doing it. The gyros seem to be working just great -- I'm beginning to suspect a motor or motor driver mismatch/mis-calibration. I assembled a second Crazieflie exactly the same way (same props, motors, soldering, etc. etc.) and it flies just great. It's a really neat...

Freshly Built, Latest Download Nano Just Wants to Yaw

Everything checks out, but it just wants to yaw in a circle. I'm giving it just enough throttle to make it weightless (but not technically off the ground), and it just wants to yaw in circles. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6zpq3tc8slfnt99/crazyflie.png Here's a shared link to a screen shot of the client...

Crazyflie Nano and Remote Control

I have a couple of nanos on order and have been reading-up on the source and such. But I do have two questions: 1) Has anyone tried putting fiduciary markers on a nano (maybe a couple of colored balls) and try to track its position using something like OpenCV? 2) And if someone is tracking it using ...

Re: Bitbucket to GitHub Transition

Hi, The Crazyradio glitch is not due to Git, it is due to a bug preventing launching the USB bootloader that did happen when using a different version of SDCC. If you have the hardware to flash the radio with SPI you can remove this #error from the code (it should not be required anymore but I did ...
